Icogne (French pronunciation: [ikɔɲ]) is a municipality in the district of Sierre in the canton of Valais in Switzerland .

Icogne is first mentioned in 1233 as Ucogni. In 1249 it was mentioned as Ucogniez.

Icogne has an area, as of 2009, of 24.8 square kilometers (9.6 sq mi). Of this area, 3.6 km2 (1.4 sq mi) or 14.5% is used for agricultural purposes, while 7.7 km2 (3.0 sq mi) or 31.0% is forested. Of the rest of the land, 0.61 km2 (0.24 sq mi) or 2.5% is settled (buildings or roads), 0.57 km2 (0.22 sq mi) or 2.3% is either rivers or lakes and 12.5 km2 (4.8 sq mi) or 50.4% is unproductive land.
