Talamona (Lombard: Talamuna) is a comune (municipality) in the Province of Sondrio in the Italian region of Lombardy , located about 80 kilometres (50 mi) northeast of Milan and about 20 kilometres (12 mi) west of Sondrio. As of 31 December 2004, it had a population of 4,623 and an area of 21.2 square kilometres (8.2 sq mi).
