Vulliens is a municipality in the district of Broye-Vully in the canton of Vaud in Switzerland . The municipality has a mayor with Daniel Schorderet since 2002 and four municipal councillors.

Vulliens has an area, as of 2009, of 6.6 square kilometers (2.5 sq mi). Of this area, 4.46 km2 (1.72 sq mi) or 67.3% is used for agricultural purposes, while 1.81 km2 (0.70 sq mi) or 27.3% is forested. Of the rest of the land, 0.36 km2 (0.14 sq mi) or 5.4% is settled (buildings or roads), 0.07 km2 (17 acres) or 1.1% is either rivers or lakes.

Of the built up area, housing and buildings made up 2.1% and transportation infrastructure made up 3.3%.
