The Atelier d'architecture Seydoux is the result of a very close collaboration between Laetitia Berger and Marc-Olivier Seydoux, both architects, graduates of the Swiss Federal Institute of Technology Zurich (ETHZ) and members of the Swiss Society of Engineers and Architects (SIA).
Transforming and renovating while preserving the identity and essence of the building, extending and building while harmoniously integrating into the site are the mottos that guide us in the development of our architectural projects.

The importance we attach to finishes and the choice of materials pushes us to innovate, in order to preserve the authenticity of our architecture, which is as modern as it is original. Innenbaum des Wohnraumes

Wohnrauminnenbau eines Einfamilienhauses im Kanton Freiburg mit dem Ziel, so viel Licht wie möglich in diese eher dunkle Wohnung zu bringen, ohne bestehende Öffnungen zu vergrössern.

Als Basis für die Materialwahl diente ein Bistrostuhl aus Holtz und schwarzem Metall, den der Bauherr behalten wollte. Das Holz in weisser Umgebung verstärkt die warme Stimmung im Raum. Eine eigens von uns entworfene Trennung (claustra) grenzt klar den Wohnraum vom Esszimmer ab, ohne ihn dabei abzuschliessen.

Das Graubündner Haus, eine Selbstbedienungsbibliothek

Umbau eines alten Kesselraums aus dem Jahr 1897, der nicht mehr in Betrieb ist, in eine Selbstbedienungsbibliothek. Es wird als Ort genutzt, an dem sich Menschen treffen und arbeiten können.

In dieser öffentlichen Halle gibt es viele Regale für « vergessene » Bücher, Bücher, die frei ausgetauscht und eingesehen werden können. Auf dem gleichen Raum stehen verschiedene Arbeitsplätze zur Verfügung.
