Sonny Hayes era considerato un talento della Formula 1 negli anni '90, finché un incidente non ha posto fine alla sua carriera. 30 anni dopo, l'ex compagno di squadra Ruben propone un ritorno per salvare la squadra in crisi. Sonny torna in pista per dimostrare quanto vale, ma con la giovane e ambiziosa stella Joshua come compagno di squadra, diventa chiaro che l'avversario più duro è spesso seduto nel suo stesso abitacolo.
