History
Bussy-sur-Moudon is first mentioned in the 12th Century as Buxi.
Geography
Bussy-sur-Moudon has an area, as of 2009, of 3.09 square kilometers (1.19 sq mi). Of this area, 2.17 km2 (0.84 sq mi) or 70.2% is used for agricultural purposes, while 0.69 km2 (0.27 sq mi) or 22.3% is forested.
