Masera is a comune (municipality) in the Province of Verbano-Cusio-Ossola in the Italian region Piedmont , located about 130 kilometres (81 mi) northeast of Turin and about 30 kilometres (19 mi) northwest of Verbania . As of 31 December 2004, it had a population of 1,483 and an area of 20.1 square kilometres (7.8 sq mi).
