The
Tsanfleuron Glacier (French:
Glacier de Tsanfleuron, German:
Tsanfleurongletscher) is a 3.5 km (2.2 mi) long glacier (2005) situated in the western
Bernese Alps 
in the cantons of
Valais 
and
Vaud 
in
Switzerland 
. In 1973 it had an area of 3.81 km2 (1.47 sq mi). It culminates at the Dôme, at approximately 3,000 metres above sea level, where it is separated from the
Diablerets 
Glacier. The lowest point is at approx. 2,500 metres. The glacier is overlooked by the
Scex Rouge 
and the
Oldenhorn 
on the north, and by the
Quille du Diable 
on the south.
