Schüpfheim is a municipality in the district of Entlebuch in the Canton of Lucerne in Switzerland . It is part of the UNESCO Entlebuch Biosphere Reserve since 2001.

Schüpfheim has an area of 38.5 km2 (14.9 sq mi). Of this area, 59.7% is used for agricultural purposes, while 33.1% is forested. Of the rest of the land, 5.3% is settled (buildings or roads) and the remainder (1.9%) is non-productive (rivers, glaciers or mountains). In the 1997 land survey, 32.82% of the total land area was forested.
