Trarego Viggiona is a comune (municipality) in the Province of Verbano-Cusio-Ossola in the Italian region Piedmont , located about 130 kilometres (81 mi) northeast of Turin and about 15 kilometres (9 mi) north of Verbania . As of 31 December 2004, it had a population of 375 and an area of 18.8 square kilometres (7.3 sq mi).

The municipality of Trarego Viggiona contains the frazioni (subdivisions, mainly villages and hamlets) Viggiona and Cheglio.
