It starts at the medieval Estavayer-le-Lac, with the first break in the silence of the abbey church of Payerne. Through hilly Molasseland, past the tiny Lac de Seedorf and the milky blue Lake Schiffenen to Laupen, at the confluence of the Sense and Saane.
