A 7.2 km cross-country ski trail (classic & skating) is currently open in Rheinwald.
Thanks to artificial snow, a lot of hard work and cold temperatures, the quality is excellent.

You can start at either the cross-country skiing centre (campsite) or Erla (PP Bergbahnen) in Splügen.

Extension for 'skaters': on the shady side from Medels/Äbi towards Nufenen, the trail has been prepared with the existing natural snow. There are likely to be patches of bare ground and, due to the thin snow cover, there is no track for classic skiers.

Tickets can be purchased on site at ticket machines, at Splügen Sport, at the camping kiosk or online.
