Bex

From the very first slopes of the commune, vineyards of various grape varieties line the hillsides, soaking up the sun as they wait to be harvested and finally delight visitors' taste buds. Higher up, the commune's roads wind up to the Vallon de Nant (and its famous alpine botanical garden "La Thomasia"), a well-known starting point for hikers on the famous "Tour du Muveran" hiking trail. For lovers of wilderness and seclusion, the Solalex valley also offers a wide range of walks.
