old town is a picturesque district with 111 richly decorated oriel windows, such as the camel, griffin or pelican oriels. The textile tradition of St. Gallen is reflected in its characteristic boutiques. The “
Erststockbeizli” on the first floor of half-timbered houses are entirely unique.

Abbey District, the landmark of St. Gallen, you will experience history at every turn. On a guided tour, learn how the hermitage of the monk Gallus became a UNESCO World Heritage site.
