In and around Gstaad

You will find peace and quiet and untouched nature in the side valleys of Gstaad. Heading for the Pillon Pass, you will pass Gsteig with its pretty church and the “Bären” Hotel. Not far from the village, the spectacular Burgfälle waterfalls are an impressive sight. One cable car will take you to the Sanetsch reservoir, the other to Glacier 3000 with the Peak Walk and the glacier ski area.

If you stay at least one night, the Gstaad Card lets you travel free of charge by train and bus between Saanenland and Simmental and enjoy a range of discounted experiences. You can spend the night inexpensively in the youth hostel or at the camping site in the neighbouring village of Saanen.
