Start the day with a walk through Thun’s old town. A little later, pay a visit to Thun Castle, which is located high above the city. Old Town of Thun

Not to be missed: a stroll through Thun’s old town. A popular subject for photographs: Obere Hauptgasse, famous for its elevated pavements. You will be amazed by the historic buildings and discover small, charming shops. After so much sightseeing you’ll need a break: Make sure to stop at one of the numerous cafés along the Aare.

The city’s location on the clear, blue Lake Thun means one thing is certain: a boat trip on the lake is a must when visiting Thun. During the summer months as well as between Christmas and New Year, the steam ship “Blümlisalp” plies the waters of the lake – an unforgettable experience.
