The district of Brig is a district in the canton of Valais, Switzerland. It has a population of 27,360 (as of 31 December 2020).

Brig has a population (as of December 2020) of 27,360. Most of the population (as of 2000) speaks German (21,176 or 91.9%) as their first language, Italian is the second most common (434 or 1.9%) and French is the third (316 or 1.4%). There are 17 people who speak Romansh.

As of 2008, the gender distribution of the population was 48.5% male and 51.5% female.
