At Restaurant Blümlisalp, you can expect a cuisine that stands for quality and regional character: Authentic — Creative — Traditional. We serve Swiss specialties, traditional dishes, and simple, honest meals. We place great importance on fresh ingredients and careful preparation.

Many of our products come directly from our own farm. Your host, Andreas Lohner, a trained innkeeper, butcher, and chef, manages not only the hotel but also the farm with around 40 head of cattle. Our motto is: Natural — Animal-friendly. Species-appropriate animal husbandry and respectful treatment of nature are a matter of course for us.

Depending on the season, you can purchase premium-quality farm products directly from us:

• Fresh milk, butter, and cheese

• Fresh meat from our in-house butcher shop

• Home-smoked bacon, ham, and sausages

• Smoked salmon

These high-quality products are also featured on our restaurant menu. Enjoy our dishes in the cozy dining room or on the sunny terrace with magnificent views of Grindelwald. For our younger guests, we offer a lovingly designed play corner, making the restaurant visit relaxing for the whole family.

Celebrations, Events, and Banquets in a Unique Setting

The Hotel-Restaurant Blümlisalp is also the perfect venue for your special occasion in Grindelwald. In summer, our cows graze on the alpine pastures, and the empty barn is charmingly transformed into a rustic event space. It accommodates festive occasions for up to 100 guests, including decoration and catering.

For smaller banquets, our restaurant offers space for up to 70 guests. We are happy to decorate the tables according to your individual wishes and organize your event exactly as you envision it – whether it is a wedding, birthday, corporate event, or family celebration.
