Behind Monro-Art GmbH are Monika and Roger Rotach-Schaller, with big passion
Monika’s passion for materials recently inspired her to complete a further education in the art of being a seamstress and a colour and style consultant. Her husband Roger, manages the business behind the scenes.
Opening in December 2017, we operate a boutique enterprise from our home in Richterswil, with a warehouse of over 300 beautiful materials as well as various haberdashery items. We also partner with BERNINA, offering a range of new sewing machines as well as repairs.
We offer sewing classes during the weekdays and also on three weekday evenings. You can learn, for example, how to make your own personalised patterns. Every Wednesday, in the morning and evening, we have a “sewing-get together” for adults and in the afternoon for kids. We also offer an alteration service for your existing clothing and materials in conjunction with our personal style and colour consultation as needed.
