Sono passati due anni a Saint Hubert. La vita è troppo tranquilla per Adélaïde e Simon, che sentono la mancanza di amici della loro età. Ma poi Stanislas, il figlio dell'ex presidente dell'associazione venatoria, si trasferisce in campagna con la moglie e i due figli.
