Hélène, sulla quarantina, dopo un esaurimento nervoso torna da Parigi nella sua terra natale, tra Nancy ed Épinal. Si trasferisce lì con la sua famiglia, trova rapidamente un buon lavoro e si abitua lentamente alla nuova vita. Una sera, nel parcheggio di un fast food, incontra Christophe, il suo amore giovanile, un tempo stella dell'hockey. Due mondi si incontrano: avranno un futuro insieme?

Le Capitole, plus grande salle de cinéma encore en activité en Suisse, a été racheté en octobre 2010 par la Ville de Lausanne. La tâche de continuer à faire vivre cette salle historique, ouverte en 1929, a été confiée à la Cinémathèque suisse qui y organise, en plus des séances régulières, ses événements de prestige en présence de personnalités du cinéma.
